About Casey

My roots run deep in the Beaverton area. I was born here and attended West Tualatin View Elementary School, Cedar Park Middle School, and graduated from Sunset High School. I continued my public education experience, and earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science at Portland State University.

With my valuable education and hard work ethic, I developed a successful career in the aviation industry and am now working as Director of Sales and Marketing at Phenix Solutions, an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) aircraft small manufacturing company headquartered here in Oregon. The goal of our company is to save lives. We work to support our local and global communities by building a Heavy-Lift UAS aircraft to enhance safety in disaster relief, firefighting, search & rescue operations and military applications. This cutting-edge aircraft promotes safer cost-effective maintenance alternatives for agriculture, infrastructure, and utilities providers. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I am proud to say I am part of one. My wife and I have chosen Beaverton as the place to raise our growing family, eagerly anticipating the arrival of our son in April 2024 during this primary.

Despite the demands of work and family, I'm compelled by a profound sense of duty and service to run for the opportunity to represent District 35 in the Oregon State House. My commitment to service is evident from my youth as an Eagle Scout in Troop 198 and later as an Adult Leader for the Cascade Pacific Council, to my extensive involvement in coaching youth sports, specifically basketball, football, and lacrosse, over the last two decades. I am dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives and I am proud to say that I have recently hit the milestone of donating my first gallon of blood to the American Red Cross.

I am entering the political arena with an inclusive can-do attitude that focuses on common sense and informed results. I advocate for transparent and accountable approaches to governance, ensuring that resources are used responsibly to address the needs of all Oregonians.

In this pivotal moment, I recognize the need for steadfast, principled, solid leadership in Oregon. I believe, with your support, I will be able to provide that leadership. I believe in the spirit of the large Democratic tent and I am committed to bridging divides and fostering positive progress in our community. With my realistic mindset and unwavering dedication to service, I seek now to be a voice of reason and compassion, striving to build a brighter future for all of Oregon.

From Oregon, for Oregon.
